The fourth season of Netflix show “Outer Banks” has just released.
“Outer Banks” is a thrilling and suspensful teen drama that combines adventure, mystery, and romance.
On the coast of North Carolina, four teenagers undergo an action-packed treasure hunt. The show follows two groups of people on the island – the wealthy Kooks and the working class Pogues.
What makes the show entertaining is the tension between the Pogues and the Kooks, because they both want the same thing – the gold. Together, John B, JJ, Pope, Kiara, Sarah, and Cleo work together in order to keep their eyes on the prize.
The Pogues’ journey to the treasure doesn’t come easy, as they go through several challenges including life-threatening situations, troubles with law enforcement, and love triangles.
The show came out in April of 2020. Since then, it has became increasingly popular over the years with now four seasons.
Not only is the show popular globally, but also popular here at Urbana. Many students express interest in the show and have at least watched one season.
Kaitlyn Fuschman, class of 2026, particularly is looking forward to the new season of “Outer Banks” because the characters are really interesting and the storyline is very entertaining.”
It will be interesting to see what the Pogues embark this season, and to possibly see if we will see a fifth season in the future.
