Mr. Victor Frush has a fancy desk in his classroom that was donated by a business partner. Frush explained that the business did billings, and that an entire office was closed because billings are now done by AI. For UHS, the desk is much more comfortable than the traditional chair/desk combos. Students are easily able to collaborate or work on their own. And it didn’t cost UHS any money. But that’s not the only benefit.
Frush teaches career and college prep and sees the desk as a tangible example of how AI is replacing jobs that use to be done by humans. Frush explained,
