Scream (1996)

Scream is a classic thrasher horror film from the ’90s. Describing slasher films Dress comments that, “So a slasher movie is where there’s a lot more gore and special effects and overall there’s a lot more visual death.”

The film follows the character Sidney Prescott and her friends. It’s the anniversary of Prescott’s mothers death, and at the same time her and her friends become the target of a serial killer called Ghost Face.

Describing what makes the film so good Dress explains that, “It has all of the good aspects of a classic horror movie. It has the comedic factors to it. It has the relatable characters. It has the mystery aspect of it where when watching the movie I never felt or I never knew exactly”
