One of the best nights of the year for each sport is their senior night. The soon-to-be graduates are spotlighted and recognized for their time spent here while looking their best.
However, the underclassmen have to look their worst! On each sport’s senior night, the seniors pick a silly costume for the underclassmen to wear for everyone in the hallways to see.
Senior Maddy Carliss has participated the last three years but is now controlling the costume. She said, “Personally, I loved dressing up every year! It was a great way to bond with my team and get excited for the actual night.”
Carliss also stated, “As a senior, it’s been so heartwarming to witness the excitement surrounding the costume this year.”
The class of 2025 has looked up to their past upperclassmen. Now, they are the role models. This tradition is definitely a favorite here at UHS and we will only get better costumes as the years go on.
