Urbana’s top senior student athletes take their seats on signing day!

Today is National Signing Day. Urbana has many seniors who are participating that play a variety of sports and plan to attend many different colleges.
National Signing Day represents a binding agreement between athletes and the colleges where they choose to take their talents and play their sport.
Urbana has 10 seniors signing today. Including JP McEvoy (Class of 2025) who is signing to play lacrosse at Florida Southern University.
“I’m super pumped for national signing day because it means that I get to play at the next level. It’s a big step in a process that I’ve worked very hard to get to where I am today.” McEvoy said.
These athletes worked so hard to get to this point and they deserve to be able to have this moment today.
