Good Morning Urbana! Today is Tuesday December 8th, and stay tuned after the announcements for this year’s Mr. Urbana candidates in their first day of spirit wear!  Now, please stand and say the pledge.

The Spanish Honor society is hosting:”En la Comunidad” tonight from 6-7:30 in the Cafeteria. Don’t forget your old coats, jackets or canned foods to donate to the Frederick Rescue Mission. Come and enjoy a night of culture while giving back. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Ayerdiz in room C405.

All volunteers that have signed-up to help at the Mini-THON Holiday Color Run on December 12th should attend a volunteer meeting tomorrow, December 9th at 2:30pm in Mr. Ward’s Room!

Come out to the fundraiser for UHS’s dance company at BJ’s near the FSK mall tomorrow night from 5-9pm! Pick up a flyer in Mrs. Weigelts room F116, in order for your meal to count! Come eat some great food and support the dance program!

Model UN students attending the FCPS conference are reminded that the position paper and permission form are due no later than tomorrow, December 9th. See Ms. McBroom ASAP if you have questions or need help.

Come out to UHS at 8am this Saturday to participate in Mini-THON’s FTK Holiday Color Run! You can register by filling out a packet that is located outside of Mr.Ferrante’s room or on the morning of the event! Participate for the kids!

Any student interested in participating in the AMC math competition must sign up with Ms. Eickelberg in Room B411 by Friday, December 11th.

Thursday night is Mr. Urbana!  Come out at 7:00 in the auditorium to help support Rock Creek School and the UHS dance program. Don’t forget to buy tickets for $10 at lunch shifts this week!

The NEHS will be sponsoring a book drive from now until Dec. 18th during 2nd block. They will be picking up the books on Wednesdays and Fridays.  The winning class will win a breakfast.
