On Wednesday, Dec. 20, students involved with the drama and dance departments of Urbana High School took a day long trip to New York City to see the Broadway musical Anastasia.
A total of fifty people went to watch the adventure filled musical and explore the beautiful city that never sleeps. The trip was offered by Stephen Ward and Chelsea Humphries to all drama club members, drama students, and dance students through the remind app and in the classroom. Ward, whoA is the drama teacher at UHS and who has been attending these trips for the past 12 years, stated, “To me its no longer the experience of going to New York… as an educator I love being able to provide these experiences for my students.” To read the rest of this story, pick up a copy of The Hawkeye from the newsstand near the front office or the media center.
