National Reading Month is Coming Up: Photo of the Day 2/27/19

Hannah Wallace, Reporter

Did you know that March is National Reading Month? For next month, Mrs. Connelly has planned tons of activities and contests for the students and staff of Urbana High School to celebrate reading. Throughout the month, Mrs. Connelly invites teachers to “allow one class or all classes to decorate their door” for a Door Decorating Contest. Mimicking college basketball, UHS will be holding a March Book Madness where students can vote on their favorite books. Students will also be able to participate in Blind Book Dates and Sidewalk Poetry. Stay tuned for more updates and photos of National Reading Month at UHS!

March Book Madness: Voting will be at lunch from March 4-8 (Sweet 16), March 11-15 (Elite 8), March 18-22 (Final 4), and March 25-28 (Championship)
