Today, the staff and students memorialized the victims of 9/11/2001 by putting United States flags on each side of the walkway in front of the school. This morning after the pledge of allegiance, the school held a moment of silence of the event that terrorized and shook the US forever. Although seniors are the only students who were alive during the attacks, the effects of the disaster that took 2,996 lives still linger in the minds of their parents and loved ones 18 years later.
