“You’re studying abroad next year in Japan – tell me a little bit about the program.”

“The program I’m studying with is AFS – AFS stands for American Field Service – and their mission is to create cultural understanding and cooperation. That’s an important goal of mine for the future so that’s why I decided to study abroad in the first place.”

“Are you excited?”

“I’m incredibly excited. I think this will be a great opportunity to learn in a different way and, you know, experiencing things in a completely different mindset.”
