The Urbana Regional Library has a creative writing club for students from grades 6-12 Mondays at 4 PM. Students will have the opportunity to work with a contest judge, other writers, and have their work peer edited. They will also be able to enter the monthly writing competitions. Here are the prompts for the upcoming competitions:

March 18: Is climate change the earth’s way of trying to get rid of humanity?

April 15: Your hero has found himself transported into the wrong story. Write about his experiences.

May 20: You’ve always heard the phrase “Marry in May and you’ll rue the day,” and it never seemed so true. Tell us how your wedding came crashing down around you.
