Today in Baker Park, vendors, activities, and performances engaged children and the community at the fun-filled Frederick Children’s Festival. Around the park, Mrs. McCook and some of her AP Environmental Science students helped kids save the planet by teaching them about recycling. Students showed children the different types of things that they could recycle and taught them about the benefits of recycling. They handed out stickers and pamphlets to encourage recycling.
