As indoor percussion performed a beautifully orchestrated Day of the Dead show on Saturday, this performance did not come easily. As CJ Lane, a UHS Drumline performer stated, “The hardest part was listening to one another yet being separate.” As many grand instruments were played such as the xylophone and trumpets, we can’t forget about the guitar solo, percussion solo and cymbal claps. After sitting down and observing the performance extremely closely it could quite easily be seen that the group had practiced this for hours on end and had perfected it by show time.
