It’s media day at UHS, and the athletes are ready!
Cheerleaders, football players, field hockey players, and every other fall sport are getting ready to look their best in their sports photo. In the photo, Michelle Mulligan strikes a pose for her media day picture as an Urbana cheerleader.
Michelle describes media day as “much better run than last year, way less people and chaos.” She claims that a better system is being used this year on media day, where each sport is coming in at their individual time slot.
Unlike previous years, teams are taking individual photos that are then edited together to make it appear as though a team photo was taken. This strategy may be due to making sure everyone looks their best, or simply to save time when not having to make sure anybody blinks or needs a retake.
Either way, fall sports are ready to represent UHS sports in their pictures and are excited to be gearing up for the 2024 season!
