Walking through the hallways of Urbana High, one may notice a new placard placed above the child development classroom. A name that is familiar to many but perhaps less known to others, Ms. Vetter, has stepped up and taken the role of the new preschool teacher for the child development class!
The Child Development class focuses on the early developmental stages of children, putting emphasis on the dynamics of teaching and nurturing. Students enter the course with varying levels of understanding but often leave with a genuine passion for working with kids.
“I really enjoyed working in the building at Sugarloaf, but when I was given the chance to be at UHS (Urbana High School), I couldn’t resist,” said Vetter.
This course equips students with essential knowledge and skills, allowing for a deep appreciation for child development.
It’s an excellent choice for anyone considering future roles as parents or caregivers, making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
