Urbana Girls Soccer scored a big win against Frederick on Tuesday with a final score of 5-1.
The Hawks scoring was led by two goals from sophomore Reese Bender, and one goal each from Graycee Raborg (Class of 2028), Arielle Raborg (Class of 2028), and Toni Daramola (Class of 2026).
This is Urbana’s second consecutive victory after defeating North Hagerstown a week ago. Urbana hopes to carry this momentum going into playoffs with two games remaining.
The game against Frederick was the beginning of a tiring stretch for Urbana as they have three games in four days to end the regular season. Midfielder Toni Daramola stated that “We have to keep our focus and prevent injuries especially against our tough opponents coming up going into playoffs.”
This last stretch of games is crucial for Urbana as either game can change what position Urbana is seeded in the playoffs.
Urbana’s next two games are away at Westminster High School on Thursday and at Winters Mill High School on Friday.
