Tonight, UHS orchestra is hosting their first concert of the year, showcasing the talents of our student musicians. Under the guidance of Hector Ayerdiz, the orchestra has prepared an exciting program that promises to charm both students and community members alike.
The concert will feature a diverse selection of music and genres, including “Hoe Down” by Aaron Copland and “Brook Green Suite” by Gustav Holst.
The orchestra will also perform the very popular song “Seasons” by Wave to Earth, featuring vocalist freshman Hannah Cho. This song seems to be the most anticipated among the young musicians.
Senior and violinist Aurora Kling said, “I think it’s going to sound really pretty, especially featuring a vocalist, which we don’t usually do.”
As the concert unfolds, viewers will experience different sounds and emotions. This event is a great opportunity to appreciate the hard work of our students. Join us tonight in the UHS auditorium at 7 pm and be part of an exciting evening filled with music.
We can’t wait to see you there!
