Senior night is a special night for senior athletes and all seniors that will be graduating at the end of the year. This night is to celebrate and honor that dedication seniors have put towards their academic and extracurricular activities.
It is very emotional for seniors because this marks the last home game of the season. All the seniors on the team bring their families and closest friends to join in the final meal at the end of the game. It is an emotional experience for everyone including the coaches.
After everyone is done eating, the coaches stand up and begin their speeches. They acknowledge and recall some of the memories and highlights of the team.
Wrapping up the eventful night, the moms of seniors give presents including solo photos, fancy metal water bottles and flowers. This is to show their recognition for the hard work put forth from the senior players on the team. Go Hawks!
