HOSA is a club for people who want to have careers in health in the future. HOSA stands for Health Occupations Students of America and they host many events and fundraisers throughout the year.
It started back in 1976 and focuses on helping students develop leadership skills. HOSA offers programs that give them hands-on experience and a chance to connect with others who share similar interests. It’s all about learning, giving back to the community, and getting ready for future jobs in health care.
Being part of HOSA is a great way to explore different careers and make new friends who are just as excited about health as you are!
William Knepper (Class of 2025) joined HOSA this year and here’s what he had to say about joining the club!
Their annual Halloween bake sale is happening right now! They have a table set up in the cafeteria during every lunch with various baked goods you can purchase.
They host this bake sale to raise money for the club and to get more people interested in it. They want to get in the Halloween spirit and show students what the club is all about!
