This morning many may have noticed while walking into school that there is a new Christmas tree installed near the main stairwell.
The Christmas Tree or Giving Tree was placed there by NHS (National Honor Society). Dr. Suzanne Dashiell put the tree there last Friday because she wanted to symbolize their effort for the Gift Drive for needy children.
If you want to donate any extra toys that are un-wrapped and in new condition, you can bring them for donation to room B120 by Friday Dec 20. By doing so you will receive two service points. If you want more information email Dr. D about the drive.
Over winter break Dashiell will take her dedicated time to deliver all of the donated gifts to different agencies all over Frederick to make sure lots of needy kids get a present for Christmas.
