The end of the semester is almost upon us, and with that comes many classes having final exams, test, and certifications. One class specifically, Pre Vet Small, is taking their end of the year certification.
These certifications contain all the information that the classes learn throughout the semester and compile it into one final test. While these are not long, they can be very stressful for the students who complete them. In order to help combat the stress, some furry friends were brought into class.
Ivy Strait (Class of 2025) and PACEE for Ms. Rachel Summers says “I notice a switch in the students ability to focus when the dogs are here, they seem to do work better.”
Mrs. Alexa Worthington, math teacher, brought in some of her dogs to share with the class. The dogs are to help for moral support providing great companionship and affection. After the certification test, take your mind off things and pet the dogs. It will reduce stress. But be careful when opening Mrs. Summers door, you might just see a dog running out the door.
