With the snow storm that ravaged Urbana, students lost 2 days of school. With the extended free time, some smart kids decided to use this to their advantage.
Trent Gotlinger (Class of 2026), Jayden Sharper (Class of 2026), and Tommy Gotlinger (Class of 2026) used these days to shovel driveways for money. Using their connections with residents of Urbana, they drove around town and shoveled multiple driveways.
“It was a bonding experience, for sure. Being with my close friends, shoveling snowing, and making bank is always a great time!” stated Sharper.
They set up appointments with over 20 people, and enjoyed their time with their shoveling business. Their hustle not only helped the community by clearing driveways, by also provided them with something to do.
