When the silver bows and sleek, black uniforms come out, we know it’s time for some halftime fun.
After a long break, the Urbana Pom and Dance Club is back for the winter season and they are stronger than ever!
They are best known for their amazing and impressive performance during varsity football games during the fall, taking place from early September to late October.
The Pom Club is one of the student section’s favorite part of the games. Lucky for you, they are back to perform at select varsity boys basketball games only for the month of January.
Not only are the game-goers excited, but obviously, so are the poms!
Team captain and senior, Audrey Choe, will be performing her last few high school pom routines ever during the upcoming weeks.
She stated, “I’m really excited to start performing again. As a senior, this will be my eighth and last season on Urbana’s Pom Club.”
Choe continued, “Even though it’s sad and surreal to be almost done, I have had such an amazing time on this team and I know that we will kill it at the games.”
Along with Choe, the whole club is excited to jump back into performing. Everyone watching is ready to see these girls shake their poms and bring the fire yet again.
