Alyssa Croft is senior taking journalism at Urbana High School (UHS). She really likes being a senior because of the freedom and independence it allows. Alyssa really likes to spend time with other people, especially friends, classmates, and teammates. She prides herself on always putting forth a positive character and being attentive to the needs of others. Alyssa also looks for the best in people and tries to make situations positive for all those around her. She puts forward a good vibe to make others feel welcome and comfortable. One of Alyssa's passions is lacrosse. Although she doesn't love running, she loves the outdoors and spending time with her lacrosse team. She also likes skiing and other outdoor activities. Her desire to help others is reflected in her interning with UHS athletic trainer Kate Strouse assisting with injured players. With this, Alyssa has hopes to become an Athletic trainer or physical therapist. On a personal level, Alyssa loves holidays and spending time with family and friends, especially on Christmas. Alyssa is excited for what Hawkeye has to offer.
