Claire Stevenson is a sophomore at Urbana High and thrilled to be in journalism! Her after school hobbies include competitive dancing, which she’s been doing for thirteen years. She spends her free time at Urbana dance and at Poms practice. She has been on the Poms team here at Urbana since freshman year, as well as being a coach for rec/youth poms. After high school, Claire plans to go to a four year university, hoping for University of Michigan, and wants to rush. Claire hopes that her career path leads to being a preschool teacher or an occupational therapist. In taking journalism, she hopes to develop the skill of confidently interviewing people, and her favorite thing to cover is sports!
