Madison Boucher is a junior at Urbana High School for the class of 2026. Madison likes to play golf, cheer, and travel. Outside of school she likes to spend time with her family and considers family to be a significant part of her life. She is described by her friends as playful, ambitious, and friendly.

What do you like the most about journalism? “I love the freedom and creativity involved in the class,” Madison said.

Madison's favorite class at Urbana High School is science. She says biology is very interesting and enjoys the variety of topics in the class. She hopes to study at the University of Florida to become a pediatric rheumatologist. Her passion for this and her ambition will take her to great heights in the future.

She is a former cheerleader for the Urbana cheerleading team and Maryland Twisters Reign and has practiced it for 13 years. Madison is also on the Urbana golf team. This is her 3rd year on the team and has been playing golf for 6 years. Golf has been a huge part of her life and plans to golf in college.
