Phiana Siguenza
Phiana Siguenza, a senior at Urbana High School has been in Urbana all her life and has attended UHS all 4 years. Her favorite courses that she’s taken in these past 4 years are Spanish, Physics, and child development. Phiana speaks 2 languages, English and Spanish and grew up speaking both at home. She is not actively in any clubs now but was involved in the Women’s empowerment club her sophomore year. In her free time she likes to listen to music, watch movies (specifically romcoms and action movies), and re-watch her comfort show called Jane the Virgin. Phiana decided to take Journalism class because she wanted to be a part of working in the school’s newspaper, which interested her a lot. Her plan after high school is to attend college at Frederick Community College and take the basic course classes for 2 years then transfer to either University of Maryland or University of Central Florida. She is still undecided on what she’s going to major in but her top two options are Business administration or Psychology, both that she is super interested in, she just don’t know which she would like to really pursue longtime.
