Troy is a current student of Urbana highschool, and is finally entering his final year of highschool, senior year. He has been living in Urbana for the past 6-7 years, and came here from Louisiana. What pushed his family to decide to move him here was his dad’s involvement in the military. As many people may know, being a military family involves a lot of movement, and Troy was unfortunately plagued by that rule, but he has since found a new life in Urbana. One of the things that Troy likes since he moved here is his job as a lifeguard. He has been working as a lifeguard for 2 years! He also enjoys school! Troy specifically enjoys the size of the school and the sports programs. One thing that he dislikes, that many students will agree with, is the campus itself, as it is rather old and rundown. Following high school, Troy intends on attending Ithaca college. He plans on majoring in law and attending law school straight afterwards. Besides working, Troy finds himself often running, working out, or playing the guitar in his free time. His piece of advice for any upcoming freshman is  to do your homework on time and put effort into school, as that will carry you far in life. Music is another big part of Troys life, partially due to his love for Guitar and other instruments.  He enjoys rap and hip hop, and his favorite rappers are Kendrick Lamar, Ken Carson and Childish Gambino.
