Tyler Thurston-Snoha is a senior at Urbana High School. He is hardworking in school and working hard at his job. His favorite class was at CTC, he studied Culinary Arts. Tyler stated “I did culinary for two years where I learned crucial skills in the kitchen, got certified to serve alcohol at 16 and made amazing friends along the way”. His love for culinary did not stop after he completed the program his junior year. “To many’s surprise, Cooking is something I love to do.” He said as he chuckled.

As he starts to complete the last few months of his senior year, he is looking forward to majoring in Culinary and Business. He is planning to make a career out of his culinary experience from sophomore and senior year. He is aspiring to open a restaurant in New Orleans one day. “I think I'm pretty capable of cooking it up and having a successful restaurant. Definitely cajun themed” He says with a smile. Tylers’s last few years at UHS has helped him make amazing connections with his friends and teachers. He plans to use these last few months as a senior to make the most of his time at Urbana High School by having a positive and beneficial influence on his peers.
