William Knepper, Reporter
William Knepper is a Senior at Urbana High School. This is his first year taking journalism and he already enjoys it so much. “I love the ability to share my opinions on different topics without other peoples input.” He joined the class to “take it easy” for his senior year and take the stress off from the busy college application season. Along with journalism he also enjoys History classes such as AP Human Geography, AP world history, and AP Comparative Government.
Outside of school his hobbies include working at Surf House, hanging out with his friends, and playing pickleball. He is also kept busy as he has the honor of being the Senior Class President. He has the tough but amazing task of planning many events and advocating for the Seniors at Urbana.
After graduating he plans on attending a 4 year college. “Hopefully FSU!” William says, but he would go to many schools as long as they are south and far from Maryland. He plans on going down the law path, but does not want to major in pre-law as he wants a degree that is flexible.
William is so excited to help out with the Hawkeye this year and hopes to help more people get writing and be a part of the school newspaper.
