The winter months can be hard to bear so why not make things a bit more enjoyable with this salty-sweet treat.
Things you will need:
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 bags of your favorite flavor chocolate chips, milk or semisweet chocolate works best.
Instruction:
- Begin with blending your peanut butter and butter using an electric blender until the consistency is creamy
- Next start to add powdered sugar and vanilla extract gradually into your peanut butter and butter mixture
- Add the crushed pretzels until the mixture’s texture is dough-like.
- Form the truffles by takings about a teaspoon of your dough and shaping them into balls. Line all your truffles on a baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes so that they can harden before you dip them.
- Melt your chocolate chips in a microwave for periods of 30 seconds. Repeat until chocolate is fully melted, making sure to stir in between each time. Keep an eye on it, chocolate can burn easily!
- Dip each of the truffles in your melted chocolate coating them entirely and placing them back on your baking sheet.
- Put your baking sheet back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to an hour so the chocolate can harden. Serve and Enjoy!
