The winter months can be hard to bear so why not make things a bit more enjoyable with this salty-sweet treat.

Things you will need:

  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 bags of your favorite flavor chocolate chips, milk or semisweet chocolate works best.

Instruction:

  1. Begin with blending your peanut butter and butter using an electric blender until the consistency is creamy
  2. Next start to add powdered sugar and vanilla extract gradually into your peanut butter and butter mixture
  3. Add the crushed pretzels until the mixture’s texture is dough-like.
  4. Form the truffles by takings about a teaspoon of your dough and shaping them into balls. Line all your truffles on a baking sheet.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes so that they can harden before you dip them.
  6. Melt your chocolate chips in a microwave for periods of 30 seconds. Repeat until chocolate is fully melted, making sure to stir in between each time. Keep an eye on it, chocolate can burn easily!
  7. Dip each of the truffles in your melted chocolate coating them entirely and placing them back on your baking sheet.
  8. Put your baking sheet back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to an hour so the chocolate can harden. Serve and Enjoy!
