“Urbana lacrosse has impacted me in many ways throughout my time in high school. As a freshman on varsity, I was able to learn so much from the older guys, and it helped me see what it takes to play at a high level. The camaraderie that we had my sophomore year was one of the reasons why we had won the state championship. Being able to have fun with the guys off the field and being so tight-knit allowed us to have fun on the field as well as hold each other accountable to keep pushing for success. Through Urbana Lacrosse, I have learned how to be a leader through the leaders that I watched my freshman year and the camaraderie between the team to hold each other accountable.”
