On February 2, the girl’s varsity basketball game ended in a defeat against the Gaels—the final score being 62-37. Despite the hard-fought game, Girls Varsity Basketball falls short against the St. Maria Goretti Gaels.

The game remained significantly tight, however, the scoring gap widened in the third quarter. Though they were behind on points, the Hawks still relentlessly pushed through to play their greatest.

The Hawks played to their full capabilities throughout the entire game and gave it their all. Their next game is on February 4 against the Linganore Lancers.
