Jackson Lowery, Journalist
Jackson Lowery is a junior at Urbana High School. When asked about why he took this journalism class, he answered by saying "I wanted to get a gist of the writing process and if its something I want to do for a career". Right now, he has completed most of his classes required for graduation so he is taking elective classes that pertain to careers and different fields. He has maintained consistent grades throughout his three years in High School and after a rough beginning to his first semester, he is working on getting his old grades back to what they once were. He has gained significant bonds with teachers and students that can help him down the road after he graduates High School. When asked about what he wants to get done before he graduates, he said "I want to learn what I want to do for a career and major in for college".
