Quarantine feels like it is coming to an end, with Maryland’s governor announcing the opening of retail businesses (with safety precautions), but there is still a lot of time to kill at home following Hogan’s “Safer at Home” policy. With the weather getting warmer, it is a good choice to take some time and spend it outside. However, for when it gets too hot or begins to rain, here are some suggestions for what to watch when it feels like you have already watched everything:

1. Grey’s Anatomy: Private Practice

For if you have already watched Grey’s Anatomy, this spinoff show follows Addison to Los Angeles where she begins her new life and career away from Seattle Grace. It is also created by Shonda Rhimes and can be streamed on Netflix.

2. Dance Moms

For if you love reality television: Dance Moms was a classic in the early 2010’s, following young girls and their mothers in the competitive dance world. Watch this show on Hulu.

3. Spongebob Squarepants

For when you want a childhood throwback: Spongebob needs no introduction. Episodes of this classic cartoon can be found on Amazon Prime, and reruns are frequently played on Nickelodeon.

4. 30 Rock

If you loved The Office, 30 Rock might be just what you need. This show is similar to the beloved show, following the same “mockumentary” style and quirky humor. Both shows were originally aired on NBC, and there are a lot of the same style jokes as it was meant for similar audiences. Watch it on Netflix.

5. Waco

For if you love docuseries: Waco is about a religious cult in Texas that was discovered and expelled from their compound by the FBI in 1993. This suspenseful series inspires a lot of conspiracy theories about the shockingly sinister events that transpired there, leaving you wondering which side were the true villains.

Quarantine can feel monotonous. Taking some time to gather the snacks, pop some popcorn, and watch a new TV with your family might be just what you need. It has been hard spending every day stuck at home and the days may start to feel very redundant, so using television shows and movies to add back some spice to these last few days of quarantine could be very beneficial to everyone in your family!
