Sarah Seo is a senior at Urbana High School. After graduating from Hampton Elementary School in Pennsylvania, she went to Urbana Middle, and now attends Urbana High School. Her favorite class that she’s taken thus far is ceramics, because you can make “functional art” that can serve a purpose for those who use it.
Sarah hopes “to pursue art in the future”, and says she would “love to travel to Bali for the tropical fruits or the Maldives with bioluminescent seas”.
She says, “in my free time I like to play video games, crochet, or watch movies”. And although she does not enjoy many sports, she enjoys watching volleyball.
After being asked “If you could change one thing in your past, what would it be?” Her response was “The glasses I wore in middle school”. An interesting fact about Sarah’s life is that she almost dyed her hair “all colors of the rainbow”.
After being given the chance to ask a question about herself in this interview, she described senioritis from her perspective- “Not having the thought or motivation of classes but the lingering weight in the back of the mind knowing you have to graduate. Also wanting to get out of this school as fast as possible but nervous/anxious for college.” Sarah is both nervous and excited about college, and hopes to enjoy her last semester with Urbana High.
