It is only Tuesday, and FCPS has decided to close the schools not once but twice. Due to the snow and ice on the ground, and the freezing rain that will accumulate today, FCPS decided that it was best to close all Frederick County schools on Tuesday, February 12. As the rain continues to gather, the roads will possibly become icey and unsafe, so the decision to close schools today was for the best.
