To celebrate February as Black History Month, this week has been Spirit Week. Because of snow, we haven’t had school for the past few days this week and have missed the beginning of Spirit Week. Spirit week “begins” with today, Wednesday. Today, all students were told to dress in all black for a school-wide blackout. Outfits ranged from just one piece of black clothing to head-to-toe spirit. Students showed their UHS pride by wearing black leggings, shirts, shoes, and headbands.
