Today, March 6, 2019, Juniors at Frederick County High Schools took the SAT. This was the second year in a row that FCPS has offered the SAT during school on a weekday. The SAT is an important test that is necessary for many colleges, but not everyone is able to take it. Usually, some students are unable to take because of it is too expensive or because it is offered at inconvenient times. By holding it during the school day, the test is available to all high school Juniors at a convenient time and reduced cost.
