Unfortunately, chances are that not everyone has access to medical face masks, and it’s not exactly like you can just step out and go buy one easily anymore. If this is your case, here’s a simple and quick tutorial on how to make your own, homemade face mask. All you’ll need is a Bandana, or if you don’t have one, a similar type of fabric, and either two rubber bands or hair ties.

  • Step 1: Fold the Bandana in half.
  • Step 2: Fold the upper half down, and lower half up, so both portions of the Bandana meet in the center.
  • Step 3: Place the rubber bands or hair ties throw the Bandana, so they’re roughly six inches apart from each other towards the center of the Bandana.
  • Step 4: Fold both sides remaining towards the center, so the two rubber bands or hair ties poke out.

That’s pretty much the tutorial on how you can make your own face mask at home with ease, but if you’re a visual learner, here’s a YouTube link that follows the same steps. Stay safe!
