Students at UHS this week have their schedules full of fun, especially with homecoming this weekend, and of course that also means that the Urbana Football team’s schedule is full tonight with the homecoming football game.
Tonight’s game against Oakland Mills will hopefully be a night to remember, as the Hawks are all excited for the game. Varsity players were all dressed and ready this morning in their new alternate jerseys for the game.
Students around UHS have had positive opinions about the new jersey design. Instead of the original white or blue base, the Jerseys are mostly gray with dark blue letters.
Ryan Horvath, a Junior on the football team, stated his opinion on the design. He said, “I like the new jerseys, they make me look good.”
This new look was not only catching eyes in the school building but also in the stadium. During the game, spectators have different perspectives of the Varsity team’s new look under the stadium lights.
