Coach Evan’s first morning with Urbana swim leaves swimmers excited about the upcoming season.
With the first day of winter sport tryouts for Fredrick county, Urbana’s swim team got started early this morning, conducting a tryout for all swimmers interested at 5:15 A.M.
Swimmers were required to perform all 4 strokes this morning, showing off their times for each 100 yard race.
Samuel Lee, Class of 2025, is excited to get this season started, “I’m really excited for the upcoming meets and especially looking forward to the county championship.”
Urbana will be conducting 2 more tryouts Monday and Tuesday morning as well, focusing on different events and seeing what swimmers best strengths are.
