“I teach computer science and business. I started off teaching social studies, and then I moved into business and technology, and I just decided to teach more computer science because I really enjoyed the creativity of it. I am from Beaumont, Texas. I advise the Future Business Leaders of America, the Tabletop Roleplaying Club, the Magic: The Gathering Club, and I also do the Global Dominators board gaming club, a lot of gaming stuff. I really enjoy games, I think they’re very good at helping students think laterally and being creative. If you can come up with creative solutions to problems in a fake world, then you can come up with creative solutions in the real world. Outside of school, I do a lot of research. I am a professor at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, and I work within to teach teachers, I teach people who are going to become teachers and people who are going to become administrators and I teach them about research, focus, leadership practices, and organizational innovation. The class I teach right now is called Transformational Leadership. I like reading about how people form groups and form bonds, and accomplish big, important things together.”
