Maddie Dame is a sophomore at Urbana High School and is 16 years old. She enjoys hanging out with her friends, traveling, baking, and participating in life as much as she can. There is nothing she does without listening to music. Maddie enjoys listening to many different genres including folk, indie rock, and pop punk. She loves to go outside and hike and she has plans to visit every national park in her lifetime. After high school, she plans to move up to New England and study environmental and space sciences.
Her reason for joining Journalism was to create interesting stories for people to read about their personal interests. During her time in Journalism, she wants to report on entertainment, sports, and theater by interviewing athletes and actors from throughout the school. She is hoping to represent people’s interests while improving her writing abilities.
