The boys Varsity soccer team is pumped for their away game tonight against the Oakdale Bears! These are some responses that players have said about how they prepare themselves for the games.
Senior Jorge Ortega responds to how he prepares himself for a game, how he feels about the Urbana Soccer team, and his experience so far playing for the hawks. He says “I am new to the school but I love the team, we are like family and we all support one another and work together to be great.” He then says “To prepare myself for a game I listen to music and watch soccer videos.”
Junior Sergio Duarte says “Before a game I listen to music.” He also responded saying “The reason I started playing soccer is because of my dad. I wanted to follow his steps and it is a big part of my culture.”
Duarte exclaimed, “I love everything about the team, we play well together and we are a pretty good team.”
