Tips from Deputy Stocks: Winter Driving Edition

  • Make sure tires are properly inflated
  • Fill up wiper fluid
  • Increase following distance
  • Reduce speed
  • Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle (blanket, coat, gloves, food, water, etc.)
  • Scrape off any snow or ice completely before driving
  • If conditions are dangerous, do not make unnecessary trips
