Here at Urbana High, the fall season has been upon us for a while. It has a way of wrapping us in comfort, and nothing sets the mood quite like a candle lit room with the scents of the season. We went around Urbana High School asking students and teachers what their favorite fall scents were, and we got a variety of different answers.
At the top is Warm Vanilla, a cozy, light aroma that feels like slipping into your comfiest outfit. It has a smooth depth, like opening the door to a bakery. There is a gentle warmth that feels just like cuddling up at your grandmother’s home.
Close behind is Apple Cider, a crisp yet comforting blend that instantly evokes hayrides and orchard visits. It’s sweet but never heavy, capturing the essence of chilly afternoons wrapped in scarves.
Of course, no fall lineup is complete without the classic Pumpkin Spice. This iconic mix of nutmeg, cloves, and sweetness that signals the start of sweater weather.
A brighter, more obscure addition to the fall scent lineup, Orange takes spot number four. It adds a refreshing citrus note that balances out deeper seasonal fragrances while still feeling warm and festive.
Finally, Cinnamon Delight brings that unmistakable spicy kick, perfect in everything from candles to baked treats. Cinnamon is the secret backbone of fall; lively, warm, and inviting.
If you need an easy way to get in the fall mood, strike a match and light a candle with any of these five scents. Together, they create the perfect autumn atmosphere; inviting, nostalgic, and irresistibly cozy.
