Psychology refers to the study of the mind and behavior, which is reflected throughout the Psychology Club at UHS in various ways. If you are interested in how the mind works and human behavior, then you would likely enjoy being in this club.  The goals of this club are to explore mental health disorders like anxiety and depression; examine trigger factors, symptoms and impacts; and devlop strategies to advocate and spread awareness. Some activities include raising funds for local mental health organizations, raise awareness for student mental health, taking creative personality tests, and listening to guest speakers in the field. You will also learn coping techniques to help those struggling with mental health including therapeutic methods and communication skills. This club also offers some volunteering opportunities. Mental health is often overlooked by many people. The Psychology Club believes it’s important to take care of it just as much as your physical health. During exam season, this means gettting proper rest,taking breaks, and staying positive. Psychology club also strives to maintain an uplifting and positive environment for the members in the club, so they can pass that same attitude onto others.  Spreading awareness  about mental health helps make a difference in people’s lives by allowing those who are struggling to feel more supported and understood.  The Psychology club is a great place to feel your best and make a positive impact on people’s mental health and lives.
