This Friday, Urbana saw a light snowfall that covered the ground with a small amount of snow. While it wasn’t much, the snow gave a slight teaser to winter.
The snowfall didn’t cause any major problems or delays for schools or businesses, and everything continued as normal.
“It was great finally seeing snow. With all of this global warming, I was surprised to even see snow in November,” said William McLeod.
Though the snow didn’t stick around for long, the weather was calm, and many students took a moment to appreciate the beauty of the season. This small snowstorm was a reminder that winter is here, and according to weather.com, more snow could be on the way in the coming weeks.
